LAMENTING A SHOE

The time has come for me to throw out my favourite, and possible the best ever, shoe in the history of the world ever even in the time before God or whoever was silly enough to make it. Of course I'm talking about the High-top Ex-o-fit Reebok Classic.

This bold bright shoe braved the fronter with William Shatner, and for me it boldly transported me beyond the realms of my imagination. Yeh OK I know they look like a piece of shit right here. But they have good reason too.

I've had them three years. I wore them like nearly almost everyday of my life since they arrived on my door step (brought 'em off da interweb init), wore them for sport, wore them for leisure, wore them paintballing on a drizzly English day of mud, wore them three months around India, wore them bloody everywhere!

But although I probably will be crying like a baby girl as I toss them carelessly into the nearest bin and breath in clean non-smelly air for the first time in a long while, there is a silver lining in this tragedy...NOW I GET TO BUY A BRAND SPANKING NEW PAIR DON'T I?!

CLOSING DOWN SALE.

There was a massive riot in Bristol due to the opening of Tesco supermarket in Stoke's Croft and all got a bit out of hand..... caught a glimps of these snaps which are awesome go have a look at some more! here

CHERNOBYL.

These are some amazingly vivid images documenting the after math of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster in which an explosion in the Chernobyl nuclear power plant released large quantities of radioactive contamination into the atmosphere which covered most of western Russia. CURIOUS GURU CULTURE

Hi glory hunters. I've been away rubbing elbows with the wiser gurus in India for a few months, meanwhile my good old chum Blocky has been maintaining this place with tasty treats. But I'm home now. Phew. Only vomited my guts out pretty much the whole time. Supercool.

People are poor in India. Like...really fucking poor. It goes without saying they can't afford to pimp out there country big brother stylie like the UK, but that's just fine, because they sorted that problem a long time ago. God is watching...always.

While I was following the path to enlightenment I stumbled across some interesting spray ups. India is lacking in this aspect of pop culture, but those I did spy I thought were worth my time.

This is a film about professionl BMX rider Stephen Murray and how he deals with day to day life and stays strong after having a crash while riding at the Dew Tour back in 2007 that left him paralyzed from the shoulders down. well worth your time!
